To The Missouri!

Many of you already know our life changing news happening in a little over a month, but for those who we have not told yet.. 

We are moving! 

Cam was accepted to medical school back east in Kansas City, Missouri of all places! He'll be attending Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB), starting this August. I'm SUPER proud of him, and just grateful to finally have a plan after many months of waiting to hear back from schools. Luckily we've had a few months for everything to settle in our little hearts and brains, and we are excited about our new adventures to come! We will be very sad to leave our families and friends here in Utah, but know that good things are waiting for us in Missouri. 

We have a bit of a crazy moving plan, but hopefully it will all work out. We'll set out with all of our stuff and trek across the country at the end of June. We have to fly back right after we get everything unloaded for one last family reunion and hurrah with Cam's extended family. I'll be in Utah for another week to do one last week of Be The Best You Camp, then I'll go back to join Cam in MO! Whew! So as of the end of July we will be real deal Missouri residents for a few years. 

The next two weeks hold quitting our jobs, a family reunion with my family, and the beginnings of packing up our cute little house. It's been quite a feat having to tell all of my students and clients I'll be moving, but everyone has been so supportive and excited for us. 

Honestly, we're ready for a change I think. At least I am. 

And for some reason, the Lord needs us in Missouri, and so we will go :)

And we'll enjoy a lot of the world famous BBQ food while we're there! 

Introducing.. CABECCA!

Hello friends! I bet you thought we forgot we had a blog! We didn't :) Just got a little busy is all. We spend our days working with the children - Cam is currently "Coach King" teaching PE to the children at a charter school in Pleasant Grove, and I spend my days driving e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e  visiting different private clients and treatment centers for music therapy. We have big news to share concerning the next chapter of our lives (a cross-country move is in the works!), but that is for the next blog post. 

Until then... 

We have some other exciting news to share with you.... we have formed a band!

For those who know Cam, you should be VERY proud of how far he has come in the past couple of months of learning the guitar! I sure am proud! Anyway, if you enjoy a little Tay Tay Swift, this video is for you :)

I decided it was time to share the weddingness with you all:) The pictures are on the lovely facebook now, and the videos (and links) will be here! We are so grateful for our awesome videographer Ryan Hinman. He was so great to work with, even though he captured some awkward and funny moments throughout the days of wedding fun.. You will see more pda in these videos than you will ever see from us in real life.. just a little FYI haha so enjoy it for the few minutes while it lasts! It was a beautiful day, and even though I struggle being the center of attention, I quite enjoyed feeling like a princess:)

A Sip of Butterbeer

Hello friends!

And welcome to our blog. If you were wondering about our awesome web address: crkingscrossstation, you should probably know one fun fact about us - we are obsessed with Harry Potter. And we are the Kings. So... pretty creatively great eh? Which is one of the big reasons we ventured to Orlando Florida for our honeymoon. We had to check out the new Harry Potter world!

We of course bought our very own wands from Ollivanders

Enjoyed some delicious butter beer!

 Stormed the castle multiple times

 And left with happy hearts!

Speaking of that grand vacation, our theme for the week was YOHO - You Only Honeymoon Once! So of course we soaked up every opportunity, including many desserts at good old Denny's! (For more fun photos visit the FB page.) It was a lovely hiatus from real life, but you know, real life with Troy Bolton isn't too shabby either. 

Speaking of Troy Bolton, I think our blog title needs no introduction. However, for those who really do not know us and think we are a little juvenile, just smile and accept:) It's a magical part of our lives! In the first ten minutes of meeting Cam, I learned the all-important fact that he knows the High School Musical dances. Our first kiss came the night of our fantastic adventure to East High. Our wedding dance song was "Can I Have This Dance". AND Cam has allowed me to have a little HSM shrine in our front room. So we literally are all in this together, forever and ever. 

For now, we're just loving the life of school, work, and eating dinner at 9:30 at night, but that's our reality and we're making the best of what is! Check in every once in a while for our little adventures and fun in our little red brick house:)
